About Me

After receiving my degree in architecture from the Universidad Piloto de Colombia in Bogotá, I began my career as a residential architect and interior designer with Arq. Ricardo Montoya Ballén. In 2010, I founded Diego Alejandro Design in New York City to focus on interior design. While my style may be loosely defined as modern & urban, it is always fluid and evolving, never constrained by one particular aesthetic. By bringing an architectural eye to my interior designs, I create balance and harmony between the elements that make up a space. I treat interiors as compositions — lines, planes, and volumes that are blended together to create designs that are not only interesting and unique, but also visually enjoyable. With interior design offices in New York City and Miami, I can assist you with projects worldwide.
